SEPTEMBER IS CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Hands Up Who is Going to Paint their Nails Gold or Yellow in September for Childhood Cancer

Every day in Ireland, families hear the devastating words “your child has cancer.” Childhood cancer doesn’t just affect the child – it impacts parents, siblings, and entire communities.

This September, we come together with gold – the international colour of childhood cancer awareness – to shine a light on the bravery of children in treatment, to remember those we’ve lost, and to stand with the families who face this journey every single day.

By raising awareness, funds, and showing solidarity, we can make a real difference.

We’re inviting you to take part in our Paint Your Nails Gold/or Yellow campaign!

We are asking our community to pull together and make this a fun campaign for the month of September, take part, tag friends, chat to local salons, shops, workplaces etc to join us.  Paint your nails gold for Childhood Cancer this September – everyone welcome

We ask you to paint your nails gold/yellow and tag us on our socials so we can light up the internet, or send your photos into dee@aoibheannspinktie.ie  or WhatsApp them 087 2637326

  • Challenge your friends in Ireland and overseas, just tag them in a post and ask them to paint their nails as well
  • Donate even just €1 a nail – to help us continue supporting families of children going through cancer treatment at www.idonate.ie/gold

If you don’t fancy all gold nails, that is no problem at all, how about your own nail colour with a gold ribbon sticker on them.

Order a Childhood Awareness and Nail Pack

We will post these out with our compliments during September, to help spread the word on Childhood Cancer month and encourage others to take up the challenge, so we can continue funding work for families.  The pack will contain the following …

  • A Childhood Cancer Ribbon Pin
  • A set of Gold Ribbon nail stickers, if you want to stick on your favourite colour
  • A temporary tattoo of a Gold Ribbon for September
  • An Aoibheann’s Pink Tie Wristband

We also have posters designed which could be used in the work place, local sport clubs, shops and basically anywhere to make this campaign a fantastic one.  Simply email Dee on our team at dee@aoibheannspinktie.ie with your home or work address if you would like a campaign pack sent to you, or your email address if you would like us to email you a poster for your work place, local sport clubs, shops and basically anywhere to make this campaign a fantastic one.  Or simply WhatsApp Dee on 087 2637326 with your details.

Dee will answer any questions you have, and if you can help us getting the word out in anyway and would like some ideas from Dee just get in touch.

Join us and make a difference, your difference makes the world of difference to families going through Childhood Cancer.
